WinGate X - Cross platform Internet Sharing Proxy Server

The Internet has many different standards and protocols, and is constructed of many different networking environments. Realising this difference Qbik has endeavoured to make its pioneering proxy server technology available to most TCP/IP network environments. With WinGate catering to support Windows based networks, WinGate X has been developed as a cross platform proxy server solution for non-Windows environments.

With support for Unix, Linux, BSD, and Mac OsX, WinGate X provides most of the great Internet connection sharing features found in WinGate. As an ideal Internet gateway that can be administered remotely, WinGate X also includes server features such as DNS and DHCP to help manage your network and its connections more easily and effectively.

With a centralized administration control point, and easy to use interface, WinGate X also includes an interface for optional plug-ins and the ability to monitor and control security over sharing your connections. WinGate X can handle connection requests from clients (including Windows users workstations) through a variety of methods such as NAT and straight Proxy.

So if you are running a multi-flavoured network with non-Windows based workstations, then WinGate X will allow your clients to run in harmony without the pain and difficulty of trying to implement more complex and costly solutions.
