LDaemon serves as a central address book repository for our popular MDaemon email server. The standard-based LDAPv3 server is FREE of charge and is a separate download from MDaemon.

Features

Standards-Based
LDaemon is a fully functional LDAPv3 server.

Complete MDaemon integration
LDaemon can be enabled, disabled, and configured from within MDaemon, and runs as a background service beside MDaemon.

Command line support
LDaemon supports a complete suite of LDAP command line tools.

Logging
LDaemon’s logging options provide an administrative log of all LDaemon transactions.

Address book support
LDaemon can serve as a backend address book provider for ComAgent and LDAP-enabled email clients. MDaemon account email addresses and names can be mirrored to LDaemon automatically.

Database sharing
MDaemon can be configured to use LDaemon to store database information to share within a network of MDaemon servers. This feature also can be used to distribute the workload among users.
