DKIM Protects Email Identities, Message
Content
DKIM is a proposed Internet standard designed to
help prove and protect message sender identity and
the integrity of the messages they convey. It is
currently under review by the Internet Engineering
Task Force (IETF). DKIM has grown from the
combined efforts of numerous Internet enterprises,
including Alt-N Technologies, America Online,
Brandenburg Internetworking, Cisco Systems,
EarthLink, IBM, Microsoft, PGP Corporation, Sendmail,
StrongMail Systems, Tumbleweed, VeriSign and
Yahoo!.
MDaemon 8.10, a DKIM capable version of Alt-N's
popular email server, is a secure, turn-key mail server
solution. It can also serve as a secure “front-door”
to an existing email system, such as Microsoft
Exchange, thereby bringing SPF, DomainKeys, and
DKIM capabilities where it may not have previously
existed.
